BIO-TECH SYSTEMS, INC., founded in 1980, provides clients with management and marketing services in the healthcare field. This focuses on strategic planning, market research, product studies and development of new business opportunities. Marvin Burns, president of BIO-TECH SYSTEMS, INC., has been active in the medical industry and hospital community for over 20 years and has prepared numerous market research reports that have been widely distributed in the business and educational community. Burns has been Technology Editor of Future Oncology, a publication widely circulated in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry reporting on new developments in cancer diagnosis and treatment. In addition, he has prepared numerous trend reports for the American Hospital Association that have been broadly circulated.

Burns is a graduate of MIT in mechanical engineering and the Harvard Business School's advanced management program.  He has over 100 publications as well as 15 patents and invention disclosures in the field of biomaterials and medical devices. Prior to forming BIO-TECH SYSTEMS, INC., he was employed by firms in life sciences, bioinstrumentation and medical imaging fields in general management, marketing and product development. He was also a hospital administrator in charge of professional and technical services including medical imaging, therapy services, and clinical laboratory.
